About
Tenor, Edwin Joseph Cotton Hails from New York City and has traveled the world with the Boy's Choir of Harlem, Morehouse College Glee Club, Atlanta Opera, 12 Tenors and The Cast - Die Opernband. He has also performed at prestigous halls and venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Opera Comique in Paris, Theatre Luxemburg and the Granada Summer Music Festival in the Alhambra. He has also been on Televison Programs such as the David Letterman Show, Emerald Lagasse and in Germany on the Stern Stunden Gala and ZDF Morgenmagazin.
Previous Roles sung: Alfredo (La Traviata), Alfred (Die Fledermaus), Tony (Westside Story), Tom Rakewell (The Rakes Progress), Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Belmonte (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) Chabel (Die Ersten Menschen), and Monsieur Vogelsang
(Der Schauspieldirektor - with the Hamburg Symphoniker) Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto), American Consul (Kurofune -Rette uns okichi with the Neuköllner Oper) and both Rodolfo (La Boheme) and Hoffmann (Les Contes D'Hoffmann) with Passagio Oper in Berlin.
